Love is in the Air...

It was a beautiful day on Sunday and we took full advantage of it as Allison and Jason, Doug and I met in downtown Portland. The sun was shining, and the wind was blowing, but we were just thankful that it wasn't raining. What a great view looking out over the river! You wouldn't believe how many people were out this day. We had to dodge a lot of bicycles, walkers, and runners.

Now we just can't wait until June to photograph this couples wedding! It is going to be fabulous...

sweet little feet...

How sweet they are, those little feet! Don't you just love to hold them. A year ago we had this cute family in the studio. Keira wasn't too happy about being there, and we were just able to get the session done. Imagine my surprise when I got the call that a newborn session was needed for new baby brother. And what a sweet little surprise.

Doug and I just had to laugh though... Keira was afraid of Doug at the beginning of the session so he left the room. A little while later she was crying a bit. Mom and I were working with baby brother on a few shots, and poor Keira was sitting crying. Doug came into the room and started talking with her. While they were sitting there as she was crying, she asked him to hold her. They were best friends from then on. I just had to include the last shot as evidence!!

West Linn Senior Model

We are so happy to be officially kicking off our 2010 Senior Model Program. If you would like to represent our studio to your classmates, send us an email and we'll get an application out to you.

Take a sneak peek at one of our senior models from West Linn High School. We were fortunate that the day we did this portrait session it was actually sunny. I think we just happened to sandwich it in between some very rainy days.

It took us a little longer to pull this off than we thought...

Announcing the opening of our Westside location! We now have two locations to serve you. Located just a mile and a half off of the 185th exit on Hwy 26. This location will be available for client consultations, order pick up, image viewing, and portrait sessions consisting of in-door images with natural light and outside images.

The Eastside location, in the Gateway district, is still available for all of the above, and also has the availability for the indoor studio images with backgrounds and studio lighting.

Beautitul couple...

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting this great couple. Even though it was not their first child, it was their first pregnancy session. We had such a great time getting to know each other. Their little sweetie will be here soon enough. Until then, hope you enjoy this sneak peek!
