Love in bloom!

On July 17th we photographed a beautiful wedding, and the next day I switched into mother-of-the-bride mode for our daughter, so this couple has had to wait a long time for their sneak peek. The location was fabulous, and worth the hike in! It's not often you have a stream flowing in the background, with lush forest areas around. For those of you interested, we hiked in on the Lacamas creek trail in Camas Washington. Enjoy!

I just love this job!!! One of the best things is watching people grow and change. We had such fun with this family... and what a little doll their baby K is. She was very cooperative, but not real sleepy, so we didn't get to get any of the scrunched up sleepy shots. But the ones we did get are adorable. Here is a sneak peek...

I'm back.......

I know you probably thought I dropped off the face of the earth... Our daughter got married on Sunday, so it rocked our world, but in a good way. Of course I was trying to be the mom, wedding planner and the photographer. But thanks to our friends Patrick, from California and Alicia, from North Carolina, who are great photographers, I was able to walk Stefanie down the aisle and actually sit during the ceremony. That was a priceless gift.

Family fun...

We had the pleasure of meeting this family for the first time this week. It was a warm day and our AC isn't working, but luckily most of the shooting was done outside!! Here is a sneak peek...

Here comes baby...

I had a great pregnancy session this past week. Little two year old DJ came along at the beginning of the session to play a little. Even though wo year olds can be a little bit of a challenge, we were actually able to get a few shots with him in it. They seem to have an agenda all of their own, but with perseverance, we are able to get some shots... DJ left with Nana, then we were able to have some time with his mom. Here is a sneak peek!

Lakeside Love...

This weekends wedding was at a very beautiful location in Portland, Lakeside Gardens. The weather was warm, but much better than rain! We had a fabulous time with the wedding party, and were able to get some great shots throughout the day. Here is a sneak peek...

Mother-in-law lake...

Happy 4th weekend. We just returned from Mother-in-Law lake... that isn't really the name, but Doug has lovingly renamed it that since it is where my mom lives. We decided to get away for a few days with our friends and their two dogs, Sophie and Bailey. It was great to relax a little, and yes, I did take my computer and work too! I just haven't been able to get caught up lately, so if you are waiting to see your photos, they will be done soon.
