Our next two cuties!

This adorable brother and sister came into the studio for the first time on Monday. It didn't take them too long to warm up to us and start having fun. We had the pleasure of photographing their mom and dads wedding several years ago. How fun to see their family growing. Hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Here's another one for America's Cutest Kid Model Search

This was the first time we had this young man into our studio and what a blast we had with him. He was a bundle of energy, but very well behaved for a two year old. He is the third entrant we will have in the model search contest.

I'll let you all know just as soon as we have them all uploaded to the voting site. Then you can participate in the voting while helping with fundraising for a very worthy cause. More about that later. Now I hope you enjoy a sneak peek of this session!

Seniors are still coming in!

We are so happy that we still have the opportunity to do some sessions for seniors graduating this year. We are putting together a great program for seniors who will be graduating in 2010 and will be announcing that soon. Also, there will be more big news for Photographs by Kellie soon, we just have to finalize a few things before the cat is out of the bag! I know, not very nice to dangle the carrot like that.

Here is a sneak peek for this senior from Parkrose High School. I just love it when brothers or sisters come back in from a family that we have done senior pictures for in the past. It is a great time to be able to catch up on the family and see where life has taken them...

The next model is...

Here is our next entrant into the Cutest Kid Model Search! It is hard to believe we have been photographing this little gal since she was less than a year old and now she is so grown up!! Her brother is the post directly below this one, and we have so enjoyed documenting their family over the years. We really love being able to be a part of our clients lives, capturing these moments in time...

The Model Search is on...

Here is the first sneak peek at one of our clients who is participating in the Tots to Teens Model Search. We had a great session with this young guy. He is always so photogenic! And it just happened to be real close to his 9th birthday. We will have a few images of his sister soon! Now we will just have to decide which photo to enter in the model search!

Little angel!

Well I am a little behind on my blogging... just so many things happening around the studio! My mom is still staying with us and getting stronger everyday.

We photographed this sweeties birth a little over a month ago, and now mom and dad have brought her in for her first official portrait sesssion.

Do you have America's Cutest Kid...

Photographs by Kellie is participating in the National Charity Model Search to select “America’s Cutest Kid” and to raise funds for charity. Participating photographers will submit portraits of local children, ages 18 months to 14 years, for online voting to determine the city finalist. The child voted city finalist may elect to serve as a model during the 2009 Sandy Puc Tots 2 Teens Seminar Tour at a city near their home. Sandy will be visiting Portland on this tour and Photographs by Kellie will be in attendance at the seminar.

City finalists are determined by online votes. Anyone may vote. Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from each vote benefit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS.org). Photography and modeling industry experts will determine the contest’s national winner. The national model winner receives many prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10 digital camera.

Our special Session Fee for this event is $35 per child... this fee includes a 20 minute studio session at Photographs by Kellie, one image submitted to the national gallery and a 5x7 print of the submitted image for you. Sessions are limited and need to be completed by February 7th. This will allow for the images to be uploaded to the national gallery in time for the voting for our region. Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTD), is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to assisting parents and families going through the difficult time when they experience an early infant loss. NILMDTS connects families with photographers and provides them with a DVD and a reproducible CD of the images of their baby at no cost to the family. Sandy Puc, Model Search organizer, has long believed charitable work is the backbone of the community. She created this contest to highlight excellence in the portrait photography industry as well as raise funds for NILMDTS, and organization she co-founded in 2005.

Never would have expected...

to be able to do outdoor shots on December 30th! Especially after the weather the week before. But we were actually able to do more outside that I had thought. The sun came out and made for a really nice day.
