Angela and Eric

We had the pleasure of photographing Angela and Eric's wedding a couple of weeks ago. It was so fun to be on the campus of the University of Portland, where the ceremony was held. They met at the school, so it held a special importance in their lives. The weather was beautiful and warm... Hope you enjoy this little preview of their day!

West Albany Senior

We were in luck this day, as it had been raining quite a bit over the weekend! Even if it isn't raining the day of the session, it can be difficult if it has been wet for a couple of days before. The ground is usually soaked, so it means no sitting or laying in the grass poses! Fortunately we have a lot of structures in our outdoor shooting area that help us out.

This senior guy from West Albany High School had such a great serious look, which can be tough to pull off without looking mad. When we are working, I always tell them to look thoughtfully serious! I know, easy for me to say... I am not the one in front of the camera. Hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Family fun

We have been photographing this family for a few years now! How fun for us to have them back year after year. It is such a pleasure to watch their family grow. The older the children get the more active they are. It took a lot of energy from mommy and me to keep up with them, but they really did a great job and stayed happy. We are able to get some great shots so we could capture this fun age. Hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Baby L

We went through a stretch of pregnancy sessions a while ago! Now we get to have those newborns back here in the studio! Here is another sweet little boy... He was awake for part of the session, but like a good boy he did go to sleep so we could get some of those cute snuggily shots!

If you are contemplating newborn shots, it is best to come in before your baby is 2 weeks old. The older they get, the more they want to be awake. So if you feel up to coming in when they are one week old, that would be best. Hope you enjoy this little peek at baby l...

Not many smiles...

Little miss A was not too happy about spending time with us this day! We tried and tried, but didn't get very many smiles... We made the best of it though and played a lot. I wonder what the neighbors think when they hear us being silly trying to get children to smile when we are out back!!

What a sweetie!

Baby J decided to bring mommy and daddy into the studio for his first official portrait session. Well actually his first session was when he was still warm and cozy in mommy's tummy! I am not sure if he really liked all the attention though, but he put up with us the best he could. Love those cute little toes!
