Ants...

Don't you just hate ants! Okay, I will admit, I really hate all forms of bugs and such. I kept having this little trail of sugar ants along my window sill. Luckily our neighbor has a pest control business, so I asked for his expert opinion. He said not to spray with raid or other killers as they do not take care of the Queen and the rest of the thousand back at the homestead. (I didn't know that ants had queens like bees)

Anyway, he brought over a honeydew flavored ant killer that attracts the ants, they eat it and take it back to the nest to share with the others and shazaam... they all eat it and before you know it they are gone. Too much fun..

is what we had with this couple! The weather lately has been absolutely beautiful which makes for great e-session days! We first met these two at a wedding we photographed a year ago. What a joy it was when they chose us to photograph their wedding! We have since gotten to spend some time with them and have just fallen in love with them. They are such a great couple. Hope you enjoy this sneak peek into their love...

Is there a Blazer fan in the house?

We had the privilege of having one of our couples whose wedding we photographed back in the studio recently. Well actually it was their family, they now a new little guy in the house. He is just adorable and you just want to pinch his little cheeks. We started out with the family photos where we played in the outdoor studio for a while. Most of the time the little guy was doing very good... and he really had a good time playing with big brother.
Until he decided he had enough and needed a break. We were able to coax him to get more images out of him though, he was a trooper.

A little while later the family donned their blazer jerseys and we headed out to the street!

Thank you for a very fun session! If your little ones are growing before your eyes, don't forget to get them in for a session soon. They are grown before you know it...

Love is in the air...

We can't wait until July to be able to photograph this couples wedding. We are so thankful and consider it such a privilege when a couple chooses us to photograph their wedding. And we always have so much fun at the engagement session.

These two met at college where they were both music majors... So it seemed only fitting that we visit the campus and play for a while.

Meet Ashley!

I would like you to meet Ashley, a last minute senior model for Photographs by Kellie. We were so happy we could fit this session in our schedule before school is out for the 2010 Seniors. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't photograph outside, but we were able to create some magic indoors!

Happy Mothers Day!

Good morning and Happy Mothers Day... Looks like it will be a quite day around our house, but that is okay and sometimes a good thing. Last week Jessie and Ava was here in Portland and got to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa. This week Jessie is in Ireland visiting a friend, but also holding portrait sessions as well, (I know, quite the world traveler). Of course while Ava and Jessie were here we took a few photos.
