Our last evening in Vegas, we decided to take a drive to Red Rock Canyon, about 30 minutes away from the strip. I had always heard about it, but in our many trips to Vegas, we had never quite made the drive there. Wow, is all I have to say! The colors of the rocks were incredible and arriving just before sunset was spectacular. There is a 13 mile loop that has several lookout areas that you can pull off the road to get out.
