We held off the rain...

Well the skys threatened rain this morning, but we were able to make it without too much rain. Just a few sprinkles, and not soo much that we couldn't shoot outdoors.

Four minute session

I think our son had a few too many photos taken of him growing up, because now getting his photo taken is akin to getting drilled on at the dentist (if you are a dentist reading this, sorry no offense meant :). So when he called and asked to stop by for a few "quick" photos I jumped at the chance. Chris and his lovely wife Meghan were going to see the Phantom of the Opera and were all dressed up! Wouldn't you know it started raining right before they arrived, so a few indoor shots were all we could get done, oh and one out under the porch as they scooted out the door.

It's Senior Season!!

It's the middle of August and that can mean only one thing... senior portrait season. And what fun it is. A couple of years ago we did this gals older brother. We were so glad that they came back again to see us!

Two boys and a john deere...

What a fun family we had the pleasure of meeting! The weather didn't cooperate with us too much this day... even though it wasn't raining during the session, it had been earlier, so all of the chairs, grass and deck were wet. We couldn't do too much sitting around, but we made the best of it though and had a great time.

The little ones had an abundance of energy, so it took all of us to keep them corralled! It was a kick when they pulled out the Little John Deere! We loved it... hope you enjoy this sneak peek.

Babies all around...

Must be the season for maternity photos! It is always so much fun to have a new client in the studio. We are getting ready to hang some work in a womens health office and got the referral for this beautiful mom from there. We are very excited to be able to donate some of our work for their walls.

Back again...

Last time dad wasn't able to be here, so we just had time before little baby was due to have this family back in the studio for a second session...

Sand in your toes...

Fun in the sand is what we all had... First this family started out in casual clothes so they could play on the beach! Then a little later they changed as a family portrait on the beach was in order, but they couldn't resist playing a little more either. Here is a sneak peek of their portraits.

Have you ever considered having a family portrait at the beach? Well now you can do that on one of our portrait safari's. On Sept. 20 and 21 we will be doing sessions at the Oregon Coast. If you are interested give us a call and we can tell you all of the details, 503-255-3468.
