Our Milwaukie Senior Model

I would like you to meet Logan, our senior model from Milwaukie High School. We really had a great time during this session. Again we put mom to work holding the reflector, it is great to have someone along to lend a hand. Logan has such a great serious look, we really wanted to work with that. I was thrilled when my cousins daughter called and said it was time for her senior pictures... although I had a hard time believing that she is already a senior. They live about and hour and a half east of Portland, and she wanted something different than everyone else at school.

We had such a fun time, and I really enjoyed catching up with my two cousins who came along to watch. Little did they know I was going to put them to work holding reflectors! Hope you enjoy this sneak peek...

Welcome Lisa!

I would like to introduce you to Lisa, one of our senior models from DDHS... This is a great time of year for us when we get to work with our 2010 graduating seniors. Thank you to all of you who took the time to apply yourselves to this program at our studio.

Three amigos...

We love having new families into the studio! These great kids brought mom and dad in. Okay, well maybe that isn't quite how it went. Doug is such a help when we have multiple children in the studio, between him and mom and dad, we were able to get some great shots of all three. I really love the three images of each of them shown below. As much as I like a great "smiley" shot, it is the quiet moments that really reflect into the soul...

This little guy didn't want to get 2 inches away from mommy, so we decided to have him sit on her lap for a few! You can't even tell in this one...

We did manage to get him playing a bit so we could capture an image of the three of them...

Meet Helen...

Here I go with another midnight blogpost... This is Helen, one of our senior models from Clackamas High School. We had a beautiful afternoon when she came to visit the studio... I sure did love that week of great weather we had, now back to a few days of cold!!

We had a fun time with Helen, loved the cowboy boots. We even had a straw cowboy hat to add to the look! We have really enjoyed the time we have spent with all of our senior models so far this year. Hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Boise to Portland

This happy senior came all the way from Boise to visit Photographs by Kellie... We were thrilled to have her come to the studio with her parents. We are so appreciative of all of our clients and are grateful to you when you refer us to your family and friends as well. It really is a great compliment!

This has been a great week for being able to shoot outdoors! There just isn't a better place then Portland when we are having a nice spring.

Here's Kevin...

We would like to welcome Kevin as one of our Senior Models for the 2010 graduating senior class. Kevin comes to us from David Douglas High School! We first met Kevin through the DDHS Dance team, where we have the pleasure of taking their team photos! We are glad to have Kevin on board and look forward to working with him throughout the next several months.

Hello Hallie!

Introducing Hallie, one of our senior models this year!

We have a new prop at the studio that we rolled out (literally) to use. And how fitting to have her use it with her prom dress. I love it!

Sometimes I wish I was a little taller, thank goodness for ladders!

Doug decided to sneak into one of the poses. Don't worry, I managed to capture one without him too!!

Adorable...

Adorable is all I can say about this new little one. We have spent a lot of time with this family lately. First the maternity session, followed by her birth and then mom and dad brought her in for her first photo session. She really is a beautiful little girl.

We did have a tough time getting her to go to sleep. With a little patience we did finally get her to oblige us.

Say hello to Rachel

We just love this time of year when we get to have all of our senior models into the studio. This week we had Rachel in from Clackamas High School. We are anxiously awaiting the leaves appearing on all of the trees and flowers to start blooming! Won't be too long now. We only hope that the frost doesn't reappear.

Introducting one of our La Salle Senior Models

We couldn't help but think Kathryn had a great resemblence to Nicole Kidman. She was a joy to photograph! We are happy to have her as one of our senior models from La Salle High School. We still have one slot available for a senior model from LSHS, so if you are interested send us an email!

Little baby A decided to join the world. She was born on April 1st at 2:34 am... yes it was a long night but well worth the wait. It was a beautiful birth and I am so thankful I was able to be there to capture the joy of the moment for this family.

Vancouver Senior
